Vienna's next workout: What's trending in the studios

Vienna's fitness scene is having a moment. Forget the standard gym membership — the city's newest studios are built around heat, silence, ice, and even techno. Whether you're chasing a deeper sweat or a quieter workout, here's where Vienna is moving right now.

MAITÉ — REFORMER PILATES, REIMAGINED

Maité's new workout space brings Ultraforma Reformer Pilates to Vienna with a twist: creative, challenging flows that push past the classic format without turning into Lagree.

The floor room turns up the heat, literally — with hot, heated, and classic non-heated classes spanning Mat Pilates, Sculpt & Yoga. Bigger changing rooms and more showers complete the experience.

TRAIN & TONE — WELCOME TO THE RED ROOM

You've seen it on your FYP: the red light, the infrared mats, the silhouettes mid-stretch looking like they're in a music video. That's Train & Tone's Red Room, and it's exactly as good as it looks. They swapped panels for mats on purpose — your body sits right in the light, so you feel it more, and honestly, you look better doing it too.

Their "Sculpt & Recover" class is the one to book: music-driven mat Pilates meets infrared heat, and you leave stronger, calmer, and lowkey glowing. Vienna's Pilates girlies already know.

ALCHEMY37 — HOT PILATES, FULL SENSORY RESET

Built on heat, music, and light, Alchemy37 fuses low-impact Pilates with high-intensity strength training inside a 37°C infrared hot room. The studio's founders describe it as a state shift as much as a workout — dopamine, endorphins, and a full-body reset that lingers well after class ends. Their "Hot Shapes" format blends barre, Pilates, and strength work for a deep, controlled burn.

WEBORN — SAUNA, ICE BATH, GUIDED

For those chasing recovery over resistance, WeBorn combines a new-generation sauna with guided ice baths and breathwork. The science behind it: better blood flow, lower cortisol, and a dopamine spike that rivals your morning coffee. It's less a workout than a reset.

WEFORM — PILATES, ON YOUR OWN TERMS

Not every workout needs an audience. Weform is Vienna's first on-demand Reformer Pilates studio: book a time slot, walk into the 6th-district studio, and choose your own workout video on a screen mounted to your reformer.

A trainer guides you virtually, at your own pace, in English or German — no group pressure, no small talk. Group classes are available too, capped at just six people

House of IKKI has officially opened in Vienna’s 2nd district, bringing a new standard of movement to the city’s boutique fitness scene. The studio’s focus: Glow Pilates — a format built around long-term physical wellbeing rather than quick results.

The space itself is designed to be as much a visual statement as a workout destination. Soft beige and neutral tones dominate the interior, paired with heavy drapery, mirrored walls, and moody, warm lighting that shifts from soft daylight to deep red during evening sessions. It’s minimalist without feeling cold — more calm, elevated wellness retreat than typical gym studio.
